{♥ithurtstoseeyouwithher♥} |poem by jazz| Your eyes twinkle when you see her and your lips curl into a smile. I watched you exchange kisses from far; which took a while. It took me some time to notice that I had no chance, As I watched you with her from a distance. Could never admit how I felt because of all the pride in me. I hate the fact that when you look at me; a friend is all you see. If only you can take all the pain away, But you don't seem to know the right things to say. You walk past me with her in your arms, You obviously got her with your charms. Accepting the truth has always been hard, And our situation has left me scarred. You don't look at me in the eye any longer, And it pains me to see your love with her grow stronger. I wish to talk to you and hear your voice again, Everytime I see you with her, it drives me insane. Can't you see that she isn't the only one? Have you not noticed what you have done? I try to move on but I miserably fail. I feel so trapped and so frail. I used to be that girl in your arms, I was that girl who fell for your charms. I am that girl who fell so hard for you, And now look at me and what I've gone through. I know we were never together, And that is what pains me altogether. I lost a friend. I lost my love. I can't believe I said everything above. (it's no wonder that envy is a deadly sin)
