{why waste such tears on someone who doesn't even care?} |because it hurts.| i arrived school with swollen eyes. and salty tears cascading down my cheeks. i desperately prayed for the tears to somehow evaporate from the cheeks, but no matter how hard i tried to get rid of it, i failed after every attempt. if it weren't for my father's harsh words, i would never have had to face my friends with such a broken down appearance. they were quiet. they were silent. but only for a while. they let my tears fall. but only for a while. he hurt me, again. and i'm scared of him now. this is the second time i arrived school sobbing my heart out. // the way he looked at me with such hatred and scorn that i have never experienced before. it made me shiver but not because of fear but because i despised him at that moment for making me feel pathetic. i did not deserve to be looked at such a way because i did not do anything to deserve such a look. he is not even my real father so like i said, who does he think he is? he doesn't care about me. and right now i hate him. wasting my time and tears on you, you haven't even got a clue about how much i've been through you think you know. you think you knew. but what you think... isn't true. <3 atoning for all the things she should have done,
